I just wanted to officially turn everyone on to Mas Rudie!
Mas Rudie! is a collaboration between Canuto (Citizen Mundi) and I.
Our focus revolves around mainly instrumentals featuring traditional Latin and African rhythms against improvisational World Beat melodies.
We employ the use of Loop Machines to create a two man orchestra.
We create original songs on the spot, include our versions of favorite cover songs (Oye Como Va is a big favorite ;), as well as the occasional treatment of my solo music. Visit Mas Rudie! over at MySpace and check out our first Single available for FREE DOWNLOAD: www.MySpace.com/MasRudie

The first official new release since the Stranded In Babylon album is here!

Strong is the name of the new single that is now available as an online download.

As of now you can find it here, as well as on my MySpace page (www.myspace.com/adamlopezmusic)
as a download via the SnoCap store.

I hope to get it to you via other online outlets as well in the near future.

So in my current state of productivity and creativeness, I'll be setting up an online store via MySpace so that you can purchase the latest songs as they become ready for release.

Basically going back to the days of the single, only this time the singles will be available as downloads only instead of hard copy cds.

Why?
For one it will allow me to make songs available basically the moment they're finished up in the studio.
Also, as many of you know, the cost associated with printing and packaging cds is HUGE. Especially for an independent artist like myself.
It'll also help keep Momma Earth clean. Now you can't throw me in the garbage! :p

Eventually when enough singles have been released, perhaps a compilation disc will be in order, but for now be on the lookout for new releases online!!!

I'm currently taking a break from my regular gigging schedule to get a breather from smoky bars.

I'm back in my home studio working on my next solo album to follow up Stranded In Babylon.

Can you believe it's already been 2 years???

Keep checking back as I have this little scheme I'm working up that involves MULTIPLE releases throughout the next year or more.

We made it back from Eureka Springs with some great new rhythm tracks.

I'm currently recording guitar parts and gearing up for some vocals.

Brandon is hard at work making his drums sound BIG.

Sean is somewhere doing something that will somehow make us that much better.

Also, we're at Uncle Bentley's this Friday here in Tulsa.
