Meet: Mas Rudie! - June 11, 2008
I just wanted to officially turn everyone on to Mas Rudie!
Mas Rudie! is a collaboration between Canuto (Citizen Mundi) and I.
Our focus revolves around mainly instrumentals featuring traditional Latin and African rhythms against improvisational World Beat melodies.
We employ the use of Loop Machines to create a two man orchestra.
We create original songs on the spot, include our versions of favorite cover songs (Oye Como Va is a big favorite ;), as well as the occasional treatment of my solo music. Visit Mas Rudie! over at MySpace and check out our first Single available for FREE DOWNLOAD:
